London (17th December 2003)┘ Hotel Information Systems (HIS), a division of MAI Systems Corporation (OTCBB:MAIY.OB) announces the award of contract with Fraser Residences Ltd, UK division of Fraser Hospitality, a leasing international serviced apartment chain. HIS is to deploy its epitome Property Management System including the Leasing Module and Back Office Link throughout the United Kingdom portfolio of three properties in London, with more to follow in the new year. The decision follows the successful implementation of epitome PMS and the Fraser Residences in Singapore. The epitome solution will be deployed using a central database with single-image inventory which enables remote property access and allows Fraser Residence Ltd to decrease their on-property IT requirements and consolidate information and resources for their enterprise. Guus Bakker, Executive Director of Fraser Residence Ltd commented, ⌠After reviewing various alternatives, we chose HIS▓ epitome solution due to its ability to handle the specific requirements of long-stay, serviced apartments together with the company▓s strong track record in customer service and support. It was important for us to select a technology company that could offer a fully integrated Windows-based system to complement our plans for future international growth. We seek cost and time saving benefits in centralizing both the database and processing systems across our properties. Erik Weller, Managing Director of Hotel Information Systems for Europe, Middle East and Africa stated, ■I am impressed by Fraser Residences Ltd▓s vision and understanding that enterprise technology systems help streamline operations, improve guest loyalty and increase profitability, ultimately fueling rapid growth for the group.■
