Lake Forest, CA. (January 22, 2004)┘ Hotel Information Systems (HIS), a division of MAI Systems Corporation (OTCBB: MAIY.OB), announced an agreement to implement a direct connection between Expedia, INC. and HIS▓ epitome Enterprise and Property Management Systems.

The direct connection between Expedia and the epitome Enterprise and Property Management Systems will enable true seamless connectivity between Expedia.com and the on-property systems. Hotels using epitome Enterprise and Property Management Systems will now benefit from automated systems for uploading or changing inventory and rates within Expedia, eliminating the need for reservation faxes.
