Libra International, the official distribution partner of Hotel Information Systems for Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS, announce that an increasing number of successful hotels and hotel groups in the region are standardizing on enterprise management solutions developed by Hotel Information Systems.
In the first months of 2006, Suncani Hvar Hotels in Croatia conducted a chain-wide implementation of HIS core and epitome Enterprise Solutions to provide the backbone for the group's central reservations, distribution channel management and property operations. Suncani Hvar Hotels Group is a subsidiary of ORCO Group, one of the major European real estate market players.
Heliopark Hotels Group continues its business development by acquiring new properties in Russia and the CIS. Over the last 6 months Heliopark expanded with 6 new properties, making it one of the fastest growing emerging hotel companies in the region. Heliopark centralizes all of its operations in Moscow using HIS core Central Reservations, Channel Management and epitome Property Management systems.
Newly formed Russian hotel group Orange Ring Hotels starts its growth with three newly established hotels and centralized reservation facilities. In addition to managing its own hotels, Orange Ring offers representation services based on HIS core to independent Russian hotels under the brand-name Optima.
Another newly established group to standardize on HIS applications is World Luxury Hotels, a Moscow-based investment and hotel management company with several business-class hotels scheduled to open later in the year in Moscow city.
In addition to the success with new and expanding hotel groups, HIS suite of products is gaining popularity with individual hotels in the region, with an average of three new properties going live on epitome PMS and POS systems each month.
