Hotel Information Systems is pleased to announce the release of its next generation kiosk unit.

These units have a smaller footprint than the previous model and have all of the same great functionality. Hotel Information Systems SelfExpress kiosk allows first time guests to check-in and check-out in less then a minute.

Hotel Information Systems has partnered with NCR and are using its SelfExpress EasyPoint 42 kiosk, a key card encoder/dispenser, guest folio printer and optional scanner, ticket printer and signature capture pad.

How does the Hotel Information Systems SelfExpress Kiosk help the hotel?

Check-In

The Kiosk reads the guests credit card and searches today’s arrivals for a reservation that matches either by name or card number. Once the guest has confirmed rates & dates and your customized terms and conditions, the PMS will authorize the credit card, assign a room and produce room keys and print a receipt and (optional) directions to get to the room allowing your guest to arrive at their room quickly and helps eliminate lines at your front desk.

Check-Out

The Kiosk reads the guest credit card and retrieves the account/folio information from the PMS, displays folio on screen for verification of charges, checks out the room, posts payments then prints a folio with a zero balance allowing the guest to depart the hotel efficiently and quickly to get on with the other events of their day.
