Libra International announces the release of epitome Point of Sale (POS) version 3.03.04 to help restaurants manage their operations more effectively. epitome POS is designed to integrate all functions of a multiple revenue center, restaurant operations, the bar, room service, the health club, banquets, the retail shop and more.

Designed with a more user-friendly, intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI), epitome POS version 3.03.04 has an improved configuration module which allows the software to be tailored to almost any requirements of the restaurant. Version 3.03.04 includes enhanced menu and payment configuration options. Multi-level menu now has «tree structure» — menu items are arranged by groups which in turn can have sub-groups. Payment types are also arranged by groups, you can now combine several payment types in any outlet.

Among the other features are enhanced configuration options for menu item modifiers, i. e. discounts, open or variable weight, additional price of the modifier to the main menu item, additional comments to inserted positions. Changes were made to settlement types, it is now possible to automatically adjust discounts, payments and extra charges when adding a new menu item to the guest check.

In addition to the existing split check functionality another option was added. In Version 3.03.02 it is possible to split check into any number of equal parts as well as drag and drop check items between two or more guests. Split check is done in a separate window on the screen.

At the beginning of April 2005 Montenegro Stars hotel chain in Montenegro was the first to upgrade its epitome POS to Version 3.03.04. Montenegro Stars are one of the famous and rapidly developing hotel groups in the former Yugoslavia. Hotel staff have spoken highly of the new features in Version 3.03.04. Specifically for Montenegro epitome POS was customized to accommodate a new tax scheme where one menu item can have several different taxes.

All Libra clients who have previous epitome POS versions receive a free upgrade to Version 3.03.04.
