Libra Hospitality and its Ukrainian partner, Hotel Technology, successfully participated in the 6th International Hotel & Restaurant Expo Ukraine 2005. This travel and technology show was held in Kiev from 30th March till 02 April in the framework of Ukrainian International Travel and Tourism 2005 Exhibition. Hotel & Restaurant Expo is a leading event in Ukraine and each year more and more hospitality professionals take part in it.

Libra Hospitality and Hotel Technologies joint stand was traditionally designed in hi-tech style. All stand visitors had the opportunity to «touch and feel» the newest hospitality technology solutions available from the leading world-wide supplier, Hotel Information Systems (USA). New epitome Property Management System (PMS) version was presented. Among the few new features are enhanced Contacts and Events Manager modules, foreign currency processing and package operations as well as new functionality with Complimentary Certificates. With the same quality and ease-of-use as previous versions, new features in Version 3.02 extend the capabilities of hotels to provide better guest services in a Windows environment.

Other demonstrated solutions included epitome Point of Sale (POS), epitome Web Res, epitome Reports as well as epitome Corporate Management Tools and epitome Business Intelligence (BI). Our sales managers and hospitality technology consultants enjoyed spending time with stand attendees. Many questions were discussed with our current hotel customers and prospect clients. Some of them concerned the process of purchasing the systems, others touched upon installation and support procedures.

It should be noted that epitome Enterprise Solutions have become very popular in Ukraine over the last couple of years. Not only stand alone hotels (such as Dnipro in Kiev, Tsentral in Donetsk, Arcadia Plaza in Odessa, Foros and Oreanda in Crimea) but many newly born local hotel chains (such as Premier International and KRAS Hotels) are using epitome Enterprise Solutions to manage their properties. Introduction of epitome Enterprise Solutions helped these properties to increase operational efficiency, improve guest loyalty, maximize yield, centralize processes and ultimately increase their profitability.
